Subaru Loves Learning Event, August 2019

Update, October 3rd, 2019:

Today First Team delivered 150 books to Burlington Elementary, and Subaru donated a $1,000 gift card to Jennifer Woods (Reading Specialist at the school) to be used for supplies!

We are very excited to be able to make this donation, as we value our community and know, as the song goes, our children are our future. School supplies can be very expensive, and in many cases educators must use their own resources to accommodate their curriculum. We encourage everyone to consider donating dollars or supplies to Roanoke Valley schools. Together, we can help give our community’s kids the education and tools to be great.

August, 2019

At First Team Subaru, we know the greatest learning happens when students have the tools that inspire new ways of thinking and seeing the world. This August, through the Subaru Loves Learning initiative, and in partnership with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), we’re fueling the next generation of innovators by helping Subaru to donate over 91,000 award-winning science books.

This August, you can help by visiting First Team Subaru and writing a note of encouragement to a local student on a bookmark or personalizing a book label. Your message and personalized book label will be inserted in a science book and donated on your behalf to Burlington Elementary School.
