March 2024 Classroom Hero
It’s time to celebrate Mr. Ed McCann Jr. from the Heart of Virginia, our very own March Classroom Hero! Mr. McCann has gone above and beyond, making a lasting impact on his students.
“We believe in learning by doing,” Mr. McCann said. “And so we get to spend a lot of time with our students doing different projects and completing experiences that are very real world and realistic. And during those projects, that’s where we get to invest in relationships.”
Mr. McCann knows the magic of learning goes beyond the classroom walls. That’s why he whisks his students on exciting adventures…to the farm next door! Building relationships that extend beyond school, Mr. McCann prepares his students for life’s real-world challenges, not just tests.
